Acting Mastery is proud to host highly-acclaimed voice and dialect coach, Linda Nicholls-Gidley! Actors will focus on finding the musicality of, and how to speak freely in, the American & British accent.

Linda is a highly sought after Accent and Dialect coach based in Sydney Australia. Linda has worked across a broad range of media, including film, television, radio, voice over and theatre productions and has a strong corporate training profile, including presentation skills for Australia’s Channel 9, 10, the ABC, SBS and Fairfax Digital.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Arts – Acting for the Stage and Screen from Charles Sturt University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Voice from NIDA and a Master of Creative Arts – Research, from Wollongong University.

This two day workshop will immerse you in the sounds and speech structures of the General American and Standard British accent.

Linda will cover muscle use, sound changes, tricky articulations, dexterity, musicality, and stressing. This course aims to craft an embodied accent.

Linda discusses accents on her podcast ‘Say You Say Me’, and runs a thriving private practice working with actors across the globe.
