In this Masterclass, Natalie will work with actors to further their understanding of what Casting Directors are looking for in the audition room.

Working closely with Natalie, you will cover:

Natalie Wall is an independent Casting Director currently affiliated with Barrett Casting. Her credits include the feature films ‘Inside’, ‘Of an Age’, ‘The Sapphires’, and TV Series ‘Black Snow’, ‘The PM’s Daughter’, and ‘Bay of Fires’.

Natalie has been a Casting Associate on more than 40 Australian and international productions including ‘Elvis’, ‘Fury Road’, ‘Carmen’, ‘The Invisible Man’, ‘Peter Rabbit’, ‘Aquaman’, ‘Breath’, ‘The Great Gatsby’, ‘The Babadook’ and the series ‘Pieces of Her’, ‘Jack Irish’ and ‘Picnic at Hanging Rock’.

Recently Natalie was included in IF Magazine’s 2024 Rising Talent List and was a nominee for Best Casting in a TV Drama at the 2023 CGA Awards. She has been a Guest Presenter on Casting at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School and facilitated numerous audition workshops for actors in Sydney and Melbourne.

Natalie’s approach to casting is creative, empathetic, and curious, with a particular focus on character analysis and finding truth in performance. She brings a fresh, considered perspective to her work and enjoys seeking out new, exciting people and coming up with innovative ways to solve casting challenges.
