It is the aim of this Masterclass to get the big ‘A’ out of Acting, and achieve naturalist, truthful performances, that will help actors give better auditions.
Students will be paired up prior to the Masterclass, and given a 2-hander script to prepare.

Peter Andrikidis is one of Australia’s leading and most prolific TV directors. He is the winner of 2 Logies, 3 Australian Film Institute (AFI) AACTA Awards for Best Direction, and 4 AFI/AACTA’s for Best Drama, as well as 10 AFI/AACTA Nominations for outstanding Directing & Producing.
Peter’s most recent work includes Bali 2002, Eden, Harrow, and mini-series The Claremont Murders which will air on Channel 7 this year. Other credits include: Underbelly, Janet King, Love Child, Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, Pulse, Catching Milat, East West 101, Fat Tony & Co, Serangoon Road, Bikie Wars: Brothers in Arms, The Straits, Rescue Special Ops, Bite Club, ‘Farscape, Water Rats, Neighbours, Home and Away, and mini-series Reckoning among many others.
Groundbreaking drama series Wildside Peter considers his greatest directing achievement. Two episodes directed by Peter won a total of 8 AFI/AACTAs, including Best Direction. Another series he directed in its entirety, Grass Roots went on to win 7 AFIs/AACTAs over 2 seasons including Best Direction. It also won a New York Festival Award.
In 2006, Peter was voted one of the Top Ten Directors in Encore Magazine’s article ‘Celebration of the Industry’s Finest’. The list included Baz Luhrmann, Gillian Armstrong, Phillip Noyce and Rolf De Heer.
