RYAN PANIZZA

PRIVATE ACTING COACH

Ryan Panizza is a Perth-born actor who moved to Sydney after being accepted into the world-renowned NIDA. Since graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting), he has built a career across stage and screen.

On film, Ryan recently starred in Luke Sparkes’ action-adventure thriller Primitive War and in Sony Pictures’ Anyone But You, directed by Will Gluck and starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell. Other credits include the award-winning Sissy and Avarice opposite Luke Ford.

His theatre work includes Sydney Theatre Company’s 2023 production of Hubris and Humiliation, for which he was nominated for a Sydney Theatre Award for Best Newcomer, and the Seymour Centre’s 2024 production of The Inheritance, earning a nomination for Best Lead Actor.

On television, Ryan has appeared in Paramount+’s The Last King of the Cross, ABC/Fremantle’s Significant Others, and Channel 7’s Home and Away.

Ryan is passionate about supporting actors in the self-taping process, viewing it as a creative space to explore and uncover new possibilities in performance. It’s one of his favourite parts of the job; a space to play, experiment, and create, while also continuing to learn and grow himself. He believes self-taping is a unique skill, distinct from working on set, and one that empowers actors to take ownership of their craft.
