THEATRE MASTERY: AN ONGOING SCENE STUDY

Acting Mastery Scene Study is a class for actors looking to deepen their craft and confidence on a weekly basis. Each week, actors will learn and utilise a broad range of acting tools, techniques and script analysis, drawn from a wide variety of approaches, designed to make them the most well rounded actor they can be. 

To act means to do something, to perform. To act means to have power, because the definition of power is the ability or capacity to do something or act in a particular way. We want our actors to be powerful, capable of doing anything. Our goal is to deeply empower actors so they feel like they can tackle anything — there is no scene or acting challenge that they don’t feel absolutely capable of doing.

What’s more, we also teach actors how to be better storytellers — to make powerful choices that support the story you are telling, a deeper understanding of genre and the ability to create suspense, keeping the audience firmly on the edge of their seat. Actors will learn to take tailored approach to their work based on what each role and scene requires. Actors will leave with more ability to be authentic, free, committed, present, open and powerful.
